Is Living Abroad for You?

Is Living Abroad for You?

For me, the answer is a resounding, "yes! Yes, please." It's just a matter of when.

In 2016, I wrote on my personal blog about moving towards a location independent lifestyle. I ended the post with a list of unanswered questions I needed to answer to get to the next step. I've answered all of those questions and I now know how I will get there, and what I'll need to do to make a life away sustainable.

The first decision was to plan for the long haul and build a life that makes the slow travel possible. Spending three to six months in a destination and soaking up all there is to learn about a culture is the ideal.

Even though expat life isn't for everyone, you'll never know until you open your mind to the world of possibility that comes with starting over.
